Recipe for an Anti-Cellulite Clay Body Wrap

I’ve done a lot of anti-cellulite massages in salons and spas over the past 10 years... I’ve worked with different machines and some of the best tools in the world: my hands. Can I share a few tricks with you that actually work?

As you probably know, I’m a massage therapist and bodywork practitioner by both passion and profession. I’ve done countless anti-cellulite treatments, but honestly, the best results always came when I also used clay. That’s why I decided to create my own cream, made with ONLY ingredients that truly work, and combine it with the clay wrap recipe I used in my salon. This way, you can save more than €60 per treatment! Did you know that? :)

Clay is known as one of the biggest enemies of cellulite – but why?

  • It helps break down fat deposits.
  • It binds and removes waste and excess toxins from the body.
  • It absorbs heavy metals and excess water.
  • It detoxifies the skin and boosts blood circulation.

Clay for Cellulite
Clay is one of the most effective detox methods against cellulite, as it binds and removes waste substances from the body. Thanks to its alkaline composition, clay also helps neutralize acidity in the body. Since cellulite is often a result of excess acidity, this makes clay an especially powerful tool for reducing fat cells and, in turn, minimizing cellulite. In other words, clay energizes, detoxifies, supports the elimination of toxins and excess water, and leaves the skin looking smoother, firmer, and more toned.

Clay for Cellulite – What You’ll Need
To prepare the best anti-cellulite wraps, you don’t need much:

Clay for Cellulite and How to Prepare It

Preparation of the Anti-Cellulite Wrap:
Place about 50–80 g of clay (or more, if needed) into a ceramic, plastic, or glass bowl. Add water in a ratio of about 1:2, just enough to cover the surface of the clay. Do not stir – simply let the clay absorb the water for about 15–30 minutes.

After that, you can adjust the texture by making it thicker or thinner, depending on your preference. The clay mixture can also be prepared in advance and stored for several days.

FIRST METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Apply the prepared clay wrap directly and evenly onto the areas affected by cellulite. Since you probably won’t want to sit still for 20–40 minutes, it’s a good idea to wrap the area with cotton bandages (or simply put on cotton leggings). You can lightly moisten the bandages with water before wrapping – this will make it much easier to wash the clay off later! :)

SECOND METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Mix GlinaSi clay powder with water in a ratio of about 1:3 to create a more liquid mixture. Stir well and soak two shorter cotton bandages in the clay mixture. Wrap the soaked bandages around the desired area. (Since there is usually little clay left in the middle part of the bandages, I recommend applying a thin layer of clay directly to the skin beforehand, or using shorter bandages for better coverage.)

FINISH WITH CLEANSING & MASSAGE:
After 20–40 minutes, step into the shower and remove the cotton bandages (or leggings) – you’ll see most of the clay comes off with them. Yay! First, dispose of any clay that has fallen off (throw it in the trash, not down the drain). Then hop into the shower and rinse thoroughly.

Finally, massage the treated area with GOODBYE CELLULITE clay cream. It contains clay (for binding, breaking down fat, and boosting circulation), essential oils (for improved circulation and cleansing), and plant oils (for soft, nourished skin). You can massage it in while your skin is still damp in the shower, or later on dry skin before bed. There’s no need to rinse it off – it absorbs beautifully!
